Matthew Peelmatthew

B.Ex.Sc., M.Pthy

Matt attended Griffith University and graduated from Exercise Science in 2009, before completing a Master of Physiotherapy degree in 2011.

Matt has a special interest in Sports Injuries and Lower Back and Neck Pain. In the past, Matt has been Physio for the QLD Country Heelers and worked with several local Rugby Union, Cricket and AFL clubs on the Gold Coast, including Bond Pirates Rugby, Gold Coast Cyclones Rugby, Robina Roos Football and Broadbeach Cats Cricket.

Matt excels in Dry Needling and Trigger Point Therapy and is also a Clinical Pilates Instructor.


Simon Carltonsimon
D.Pthy., B.Sp.Sc. (Bond)

Simon’s passion for physiotherapy stemmed from his childhood and teenage years of playing and participating in competitive sport at national levels across several sports.

Simon graduated from Bond University with a Doctor of Physiotherapy and Bachelor of Sports Science degree. Throughout his studies and early career Simon has had exposure and experience with numerous elite sporting entities including the Gold Coast Suns, Major League Baseball Australian Academy Program, Gold Coast Titans and Queensland Country National Rugby Championship team to name a few.

With an extensive sports background, Simon has a keen interest on the mechanical cause of injuries. His injury management strategies have an emphasis on identifying and treating the cause of the problem rather than simply treating the symptoms.

One of Simon’s key focus areas is in late stage ACL rehabilitation and he has been working extensively on a return to play protocol to enable all to return to the top level of competition and succeed in future endeavours.

Simon’s sports of interest include AFL football, cycling, running, swimming, triathlon and surf lifesaving.

He has recently returned from broadening his professional experience working abroad in the United Kingdom.


Rachael Millsrachael
Exercise Physiologist / Clinical Pilates Instructor
B.Ex.Sc., A.E.P. (Griffith)

Rachael graduated from Griffith University in 2010 with a Bachelor of Exercise Science. Since graduating, she has been working in private practice and has experience working with many population groups to help improve their quality of life through exercise.

Her university qualifications means that she is in the best position to provide exercise programs that consider your overall health and well-being, particularly in regards to any illness or chronic condition that you are trying to manage, such as cancer, depression, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, arthritis, weight control or trying to establish a health and fitness program.

Rachael has a special interest in musculoskeletal and sport/fitness rehabilitation, and has a special interest in women’s health (pre/post natal and through all stages of life) in helping them achieve their health goals.

Rachael is a keen sportswoman, regularly competing in half-marathons and triathlons. She has also represented Queensland in Hockey and is currently coaching the under 9’s.


Paige Lovellpaige

Certified Studio Pilates Instructor

Paige is a Studio Pilates qualified mat-work instructor with 3 years’ experience. She is our head instructor and coordinates the Fitness Pilates and Circuit classes. Her skill in modifying a program to suit the goals of her clients means results, whether it be to tone, tighten, prevent or progress.

Classes are small, between 4-6. This creates a team environment which is further strengthened by the odd coffee across the road after a session.

Paige’s classes are open to all ages.


Julie Anne Cantwelljulie

Naturopath / Massage Therapist / Master of Meditation

Julie Anne is highly experienced and qualified in the areas of Naturopathy, Massage, Nutrition, Iridology, Homeopathy and Herbs. She continues to build on her knowledge and recently completed a Masters in Clinical Science, specialising in Lifestyle Medicine.

Julie Anne sees the benefits of correct diet, exercise and relaxation. Her focus is on disease prevention and wellness creation. She is knowledgeable in specific diets for improving health, weight loss and increasing energy levels.

A Naturopathic consultation involves a case history, iris diagnosis and a diet & lifestyle assessment. Treatment may include dietary and nutritional recommendations, flower essence and cell salt prescription, massage and relaxation techniques.

Julie Anne also runs private and group sessions in Stress Management, which includes learning meditation and relaxation techniques.


Meg McDougallmeg
Neurolink Practitioner

Megs is passionate about the brain, mind and spirit, and loves assisting people with understanding the link between these and good health. Meg practices NISPsych K, eastern philosophy shiatsu pressure point massage, and Animal dreaming techniques which all assist in understanding how we feel in relation to general health.

Megs’ sessions assist to improve understanding of the self throughout our different roles in life, and may assist in recovery of injury and illness, turning life journeys into wellness.


Jeremy Jenkinsjeremy

Dietitian / Nutritionist

Jeremy attended Griffith University and graduated from Exercise Science in 2011 before completing a Nutrition and Dietetics degree in 2015.

Jeremy has a special interest in the holistic role proper nutrition and exercise can play in your health and fitness. In the past, Jeremy has worked with Scotland Rugby Union, AFL Queensland and the Gold Coast Suns. Jeremy is currently working with members of 86 Devo Jet Boat Racing, McElrea Racing, and the U21 Samoan Netball Team.

Jeremy specialises in Weight Loss, Gastrointestinal/Digestive Issues and Sport Specific Nutrition; and is also an Exercise Scientist/Certified Personal Trainer.
